I started photography in the 80’s, learning from my father, an architect. I carried his heavy Nikon around, learned the technical principles and the fundamentals of perspectives and compositions. I returned to photography in the 2000’s, with primary interest in cityscapes and street images. I use both digital and analog cameras, either 35 mm or medium format.
Some of my photographs are planned, places that I have visited and returned to take a long-exposure image on a tripod. Most are spontaneous, hand-held shots at the moment. Whether planned or spontaneous, all photographs seek the unseen, the overlooked moments that thousands walk past every day.
